Grants Areas of Funding Interest, Grant Application Process

Home  »  Grants

The W.D. Kelley Foundation evaluates requests for funding with the following tenets in mind:

  •  Leadership is fundamental.  Great work is guided by great leaders.  We are interested in supporting organizations, projects, and individuals with a proven history of strong leadership in work that aligns with our mission.
  • Education is strengthened through innovation. Proposals for education should embrace nontraditional, experiential pedagogies.  We look for projects and programs that reflect creative, out-of-the-box practice that genuinely engages and challenges students.

Grants are not made for endowments.  Capital grants are discouraged.

Exceptions to these areas of interest are at the sole discretion of the William D. Kelley Foundation.

Grants will be made to organizations that are a public entity or have an IRS 501(c)(3) classification.
